The beard includes all of the lower face and upper neck. Sessions generally take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Treatment to this area feels like a hot pinch followed by a cooling sensation. Some clients may need additional sessions. Treatments are spaced 4 weeks apart until the hair growth cycle begins to slow. Depending on each individual’s progress, sessions become spaced 5 to 7 weeks apart. Please avoid waxing, tweezing, threading, bleaching creams and depilatory creams. Sun exposure and antibiotic use should also be avoided for 4 weeks before treatment. If you are using acne products or medications, please let us know beforehand. Clients should shave the area in preparation.
