What Getting Laser Feels like on Under Arms

To be honest, getting laser hair removal never crossed my mind until about a year ago. I never heard of the process until a friend recommended it. I decided why not? After researching several companies from dermatology offices, laser clinics and beauty salons, I finally decided to go with Satori Laser.

A laser hair removal clinic that’s main focus is laser hair removal and that’s way more affordable than my local dermatology office. There are many areas that I want my body hair removed, eventually. But, because of the timing, I was recommended during my consultation to get my underarms done. It wasn’t my top choice for laser hair removal.

But, because it’s a small area and I suffer from dark thick hair, even after I shave, I decided to go for it. What have I got to lose anyways? I was expecting the worst pain of my life. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised. On my right underarm, I felt nothing. On my left underarm, things were a little bit different. But, not painful enough to make a sound. 

If I were to describe the sensation, it feels like someone flicking your skin lightly or poking it gently. I’ve heard lots of people experience things differently and that everybody is different. During my consultation, the technician said it would feel like a rubber band or a pinch.

I recommend Satori Laser because it’s affordable, the technicians are knowledgeable and I felt no pain. Which is completely shocking to me. Most beauty treatments I’ve received during hair removal tend to hurt. I’m so glad I found this place. I cannot wait to go again!
