What Could Go Wrong?

I had decided to go for laser hair removal on my Brazilian after reading hearing my friend talk so positively about it. I did some research and found a clinic that seemed to have mostly good reviews and was running a big discount. I was excited to finally say goodbye to the hassle of shaving and waxing. What could go wrong, right?

When I arrived at the clinic, I was greeted by a receptionist who asked me to fill out some paperwork and then showed me to a small room where the treatment would take place. I was left in there for what it felt like a long time, that was the first red flag. The room seemed clean and had a medical-looking laser machine. Then who I assumed was the technician came in and without much introduction or further explanation gave me instructions and we started the treatment.

At first, everything seemed to be going well. I didn't feel much pain, and the technician was answering my questions, I wanted to know what to expect, how was the reaction going to be, how many sessions I will need to see results, etc. However, as the treatment progressed, I started to feel some discomfort. The technician didn't seem to notice and continued the treatment. By the end of the session, my legs were red and sore, but the technician assured me that it was normal and that the redness and discomfort would go away soon.

Unfortunately, the redness and discomfort didn't go away soon. Instead, my legs started to develop blisters and scabs, which were both painful and unsightly. I called the clinic to ask for advice, but they were dismissive and told me that it was normal to experience some redness and waiting was the only thing to do for it to heal.

I went to a dermatologists and I was asked many questions by the Doctor, he told me that the antibiotics I was taking had photosensitivity as a strong side effect which was the cause for my terrible reaction. It took several weeks for my legs to heal completely, and even then, there were some scars and discoloration. I felt disappointed and frustrated by the whole experience. I had paid what I thought was enough money for a treatment that was supposed to be easy, but instead, it had left me with painful and unsightly scars.

One year later I decided to give Laser Hair Removal a try again and booked Consultations with a few companies. This time I knew exactly what I was looking for; high quality service, licensed and experiences technicians and strict safety protocols.

When I visited Satori Laser for a free Consultation I was delighted to see how much in detail they went with the information they provided. They asked questions about the medications I take, the products I use, what my goals were, pre care and post care. At the end of my Consultation I was offered a free test patch as well which I took. My skin had very mild irritation for half an hour after the treatment, and everything happened exactly how they said it would with the shedding as well.

I have had around six treatment since then and I could not be happier with this process. Looking back, I realized that I should have done more research before choosing a clinic for laser hair removal. I had been swayed by the the low price, but I hadn't considered the possibility of a low-quality service. I also should have been more assertive when I started to feel uncomfortable during the treatment and spoken up.

It's important to do your research and choose a reputable clinic with experienced technicians to ensure a safe and effective treatment. Don't be afraid to ask questions and speak up if something doesn't feel right during the treatment. Laser hair removal is a great option for hair removal, but only if it's done correctly.

Thank you Satori!!!
