Aesthetician Laser Hair Removal Technician

Satori Laser Center is looking for full time Aestheticians for our multiple store locations in NYC, Long Island, and Philadelphia. If you are a hard worker and team player, welcome to join a team of professional laser technicians. Candidates must commit working long term as a full time laser hair removal technician with a 5 day work week and willing to work weekends and holidays. Our store locations are all conveniently located within a 5-10 minutes walk from public transportations.

Experience is preferred, but not necessary. You must have sales experience to generate business. You must have a friendly demeanor, be responsible, be detail orientated, and most of all have a professional attitude.

  • Uses the laser machines in providing laser hair removal treatments to the patients served.
  • Recognizes areas that patient needs and wants for treatments and provide professional consultations.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of laser treatments and procedures and performs according to policy.
  • Identifies potential patient needs and refers patients to the procedure.
  • Performs consultations, provides information and supportive teaching to patient, and responds to all questions.
  • Maintains all equipment in working order. Checks inventory to prevent depletion of stock. Organizes and maintains treatment rooms.
  • Documents treatments and machine data in customers’ files.
  • Helps receptionists to schedule using management system, according to policy.
  • Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Education

  • Licensed by the New York State to practice esthetics

Knowledge

  • Ability to demonstrate sound forethought and logic in all actions
  • Ability to provide clear and well organized communications
  • Knowledge of techniques and special procedures that are applicable to work performed
  • Working knowledge of sanitation, personal hygiene and basic health and safety precautions
  • Multilingual (English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese desired)
  • Experience in customer service and sales is necessary.
  • Having Spa experience with Spa Software with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Aesthetician Laser Hair Receptionist

Satori Laser Center is looking for full time/part time receptionists who are willing to commit working long term (3-5 days per week, 10-11 hours per day) in busy work environment for our NYC, Long Island, and Philadelphia locations. If you are a hard worker and team player, welcome to our family.

In this role, you will work with technicians to provide an outstanding customer service. This position requires working long term and we remain open 12 hours a day. You must have a friendly energetic responsible attitude towards your work. Able to multitask in hectic times and willing to work weekends and holidays.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally and channel to appropriate person for assistance.
  • Greet customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Knowledgeable about all aspects of treatments and the facility. Respond to inquiries by phone and in person, providing complete details of all treatment aspects
  • Control entry into all areas of facility by restricting all unauthorized individuals.
  • Collect moneys or other suitable payment from customers for all services rendered – operate point of sale system.
  • Waiting area maintenance. Ensure water bottle and the coffee machine is filled and clean. Refill cups and candies etc.
  • Treatment bookings/scheduling.
  • Understand customers files and machines basic information.
  • Checkout customers in the system.
  • Ensure customers satisfaction at all times.
  • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when the situation arises.
  • To carry out additional tasks as instructed and by reasonable request from the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service and sales.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
  • Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
